Longing for Quiet Time

I long for warm weather, blue skies, flowers,

and trees lush with green leaves.

I am ready to shed the last of winters residue

and welcome in Spring.

New beginnings, clean and fresh, untouched and unspoiled.

I long for a quiet time to think, to reflect, and to pray.
